Membership for 2023 to 2024
For just £15 anyone can become a member of our society and embark on a journey of exploration and discovery of the cosmos with like-minded individuals. Membership runs from September to August each year and offers fantastic value for money. It includes free entry to our stargazing events (and those of the Eastbourne Astronomical Society) as well as our monthly talks, access to our WhatsApp chat group, and more.
Children under 16 years of age can attend our public events for free when accompanied by a responsible adult on a one-to-one basis.
When renewing your membership by BACS transfer or cheque payment, just enter your registered email address on the online application form below.

Payment Methods
Membership is £15 for 12 months or part thereof, from 1st September 2023 until 31st August 2024. There are several easy ways to pay. See the options below. Choose whichever method is most convenient for you.
If you prefer not to submit your information online, you can pay by cash or cheque using our printable application form.
Cash or Card Payment
Download our printable application form, fill it in, and bring it along with your full payment to our next public meeting at Lewes town hall where we can get you signed up right away. Membership application forms are also available to fill in at our meetings. When paying for membership at a meeting, we can accept cash, card or cheque payments.
BACS Payment
Submit the application form on this page, selecting the BACS payment option. We will send an email to you with instructions for making a bank transfer. Upon receipt of full payment, your membership will be active until 31st August 2024.
Cheque Payment
Submit the application form on this page, selecting the Cheque payment option. We will send an email to you with instructions for sending a cheque to us. Alternatively, you can download our printable application form, fill it in, and either post it with your cheque to the address shown on the form or bring them to our next public meeting. Upon receipt of full payment, your membership will be active until 31st August 2024.
